#1. When traveling in another country where you have to rely on Wi-Fi & Google Maps; set your destination while on Wi-Fi & start your journey. Switch to airplane mode & your GPS will stay on.

#2. If you're in a taxi cab with luggage & there is enough space, avoid putting any items in the trunk. Sometimes drivers will hold tourists' belongings for collateral to get a better tip.
